In honor of National Activities Professional Week, we'd like to extend a heartfelt thank you to our Activity Director, Kathy, for her creativity, kindness, and devotion to our residents! Activities are the heartbeat of our facility, keeping residents active, happy, and involved. We love witnessing our residents thrive thanks to our incredible Activities Team at The Preserve at Mentor Ridge!



Meet Kathy, our dynamic Activity Director who has been an integral part of The Preserve family for the past two years. With an impressive 11 years of experience in the activities field, Kathy brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our residents. Her journey began as an assistant for six years before transitioning into the director position, which she's had for the past five years. Kathy was drawn to this career by her desire to uplift and inspire others through words, actions, and creativity.



Outside of work, she finds joy in spending time with her large family, which includes five kids, two dogs, and even a snake. When the weather is pleasant, Kathy indulges her adventurous spirit with motorcycle rides, adding a touch of excitement to her leisure time. We celebrate Kathy's two-year milestone with The Preserve family and her devotion to her residents! Our assisted living facility wouldn't be the same without you, Kathy!
