Cooking Up Victory: The Preserve Culinary Team Advances to the Championship

We are thrilled to announce that The Preserve culinary team has done it again! After an outstanding performance in the semi-finals on Wednesday, competing against three other buildings in the Northern Division, our team has secured a spot in the championship round next month.
This round was a true test of skill—each team was challenged to create an exceptional meal using three key ingredients: chicken thigh (protein), Arborio rice (starch), and zucchini (vegetable). Teams had the freedom to craft their dishes in any way they saw fit, making for an exciting and competitive event.
In response to this challenge, our team prepared a gluten-free-friendly dish: Chicken Alfredo Lasagna, featuring roasted chicken thighs and zucchini in place of traditional pasta sheets, paired with a gluten-free breadstick. Additionally, we transformed Arborio rice into a delicious Cinnamon Rice Pudding, offering a creative and satisfying dessert option.
